Michael formerly served as Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and recently ended his tenure as Executive Director of the Kofi Annan Foundation. Prior to this position, he served for 30 years with the United Nations. He was the Secretary-General's Special Representative for Cyprus, Deputy Chief of Staff and Director for Political, Peacekeeping and Humanitarian Affairs in the Office of the Secretary-General. He served the United Nations in different capacities ini Iran, Mexico, Haiti, New York and Geneva where he started his career in 1979 with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. He is the co-founder and co-Director of the Global Institute for New Energy Technologies (GIFNET).

Charles has just finished his 27 year career with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) where he held high level positions for the last 18 years. He was WFP Representative and Country Director in Afghanistan and the DR Congo where he led two of the most complex operations for WFP, as well as in Haiti in the late 90's. He also directed operations in the former Yugoslavia during the 1992-95 war in that region. Charles developed and promoted the concept of local procurement of commodities from local farmers' cooperatives and associations. He also started a number of innovative projects including reforestation in Afghanistan and rehabilitation of logistic infrastructure in DR Congo. He has a Masters in International Agricultural Development with a specialization in agricultural economics from the University of California, Davis, USA as well as a BA in political science with a specialization in international relations and a minor in international economics from Haverford College, Haverford, USA.

A veteran university professor and senior researcher at the National Institute Development Administration – (NIDA), the most prestigious and well recognized graduate institution in Thailand. He was educated in the field of basic and physical sciences, including, medical-health sciences and applied mathematical statistics. Among his past outstanding achievements were ranging vastly from the national rain making development mission (Thailand – Applied Atmospheric Resources Research Program) to rural education and tourism development program. At the present, Dr. Anek is pursuing the academic roles as Dean, Faculty of Public Health at private college of Northeastern Thailand, and as advisor to the president of the university in Southern Thailand, i.e. Nakorn Sri Thammarat Rajaphat University. He also serves as the advisory member to two sub-committee on "Natural Resources & Environment" and "Politic Development & Public Participation" in the National House of Senates - Thailand.

Earl has spent 24 years in senior positions with Jones Lang LaSalle, responsible for assets of more than US $50 billion. For the last seven years he served as CEO of the Capital Markets Group, responsible for strategic direction and management of all Capital Market's activities and oversight of personnel and transaction activities in investment sales, corporate finance, debt and structured finance, and real estate investment banking for the firm's clients. Earl Webb was named President of the U.S. Operations of Avison Young in September 2009 and is responsible for leading geographic and service line expansion efforts in the U.S. as well as heading all Avison Young U.S. operations.

For the past two decades Noel has served as the Director of the United Nations Environment Programme's North American Regional office. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Seattle University, an M.A. in International Law and Organization from Georgetown University and Ph. D. in International Relations from Yale University and also holds a diploma in International Law from The Hague Academy of International Law. Dr. Brown is a founding member of the Aspen Global Change Institute, the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives, and Indigenous Development International. He is also the President of Friends of the United Nations, a non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing the cause of the United Nations by mobilizing public support on its behalf and directing public attention to its major programmes and achievements.

Patrick has been managing NASA open source projects since 2002, incubating competitive technologies to deliver scientific content. This includes the very successful NASA World Wind, a fully navigable 3D geospatial data visualization platform. Patrick has managed other NASA programs. Prior to this, he has been a high school science teacher and a deep sea diver for the offshore oil industry. He is a California Registered Geologist, Italian Renaissance buff and a pilot.

Served as Head of the International Finance Corporation's (IFC) Sustainable Financial Markets Facility in Washington DC. He established (and then ran), the Environment Agency for the Dubai Govt. in the UAE, and has held directorships of Environmental Management Ltd (MWH Inc.) and the Halcrow Group (both UK), AEA Technology PLC, as Director, AEA Technology Singapore and as CEO, AEA Technology Thailand Ltd., and the Regional Institute of Environmental Technology in Singapore. In a career spanning 30 years and work experience in over 50 countries, he has worked exclusively on sustainable finance and investment, and environmental management, for industry, government and the financial sector.

Over the past 25 years, Chris has worked primarily in Indonesia, Laos and Malaysia, on forestry and agroforestry resource management and decentralized governance through sustainable Eco-nomics. Much of Chris's policy and institutional analysis has been carried out through consultancies directly for the Harvard Institute for International Development, Danida, CIDA, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID, DFID, GTZ, FAO and CIFOR. His most recent focus has been on participative spatial land use planning, with particular emphasis on climate change mitigation and adaptation, including exploring realistic opportunities for schemes for reduced emissions from degradation and deforestation (REDD). He has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems, he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on food and resource economics as well as assisting students to obtain internships in developing countries. He is also a research associate in UBC's Centre for South East Asia Research (CSEAR)

Amir Rabik is a pioneer artist with many ecological products used in his unique architectural and interior designs for which he internationally renowned. He is active in promoting the use of bamboo and coconut wood from the rainforest for the past thirty years. As a resident in Bali Indonesia he is also responsible for introducing broadband communication to Indonesia and served as the Honorary Consul of Spain in Bali.

Jim has served over the past 22 years with projects integrating conservation project planning; natural resource management; field biology; ecological monitoring; scientific, technical and creative writing and communications; training, facilitation, and mediation; and environmental education. Jim emphasizes a cross-disciplinary approach to conservation planning and fieldwork. He has worked as a team leader in the design, implementation, management, and evaluation of protected area management, sustainable forestry, conservation planning, environmental impact assessment, ecological monitoring and related natural resource management projects in 15 nations including, Latin America, the Caribbean, and throughout Asia, (Papua) eastern Europe, and in southern Africa. He has worked closely with the World Bank, U.S.A.I.D., World Wildlife Fund, Wildlife Conservation Society, and other international, national, local, and tribal peoples in these projects. He has published widely in both technical and creative periodicals and books, and has lectured at many Universities.

Alexandre is a Founding Partner of BlueOrchard Finance, a Geneva-based lender to microfinance institutions that has achieved over $1 Bilion in wherewithal. He is also the President of two firms making private equity investments in emerging markets, Coral Capital and Pandaw Investment Holdings. Earlier in his career he founded a French personal care manufacturer, Les Laboratoires de l'Atlantique, and was also an angel investor in California Pizza Kitchen. Mr. de Lesseps was awarded with the Fulbright Humanitarian Award in 2004

In 2001 Tames founded and developed Climex, an exchange in environmental commodities: the trading software, the trading rules (rule book), the brand values and the distribution channel (indirect sales). Through expanding the range of tradable products (now including gas and electricity), acquisitions and organic growth, Climex established itself from a new entrant to the carbon market with the largest number of active participants in Europe."

Entrepreneur, Musician and Producer, Simone is active in various fields throughout the world, from film studios to renewable energies to a broad range of private equity initiatives. He serves on various boards, including the Board of Italian Entertainment Group, which controls the famed Cinecitta Film Studios in Rome. He has co-produced several films including socially conscious documentary films. As a musician Simone is a respected and accomplished percussionist who has collaborated, played and recorded with a wide range of internationally renowned musicians and stars.

Gregg Roberts is President of CitySites Commercial Group started in 1999 and co-founder of its residential division called CitySites Real Estate Group, started in 1997. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Manhattan Association of Realtors and serves on The Alternative Board's Advisory Board. Gregg is a principal in a Brazil Enterprise specializing in matching U.S. private equity funding with real estate investment and development opportunities in Brazil. Between 2005 and 2007, he was Principal of World Real Estate Exchange in Miami, FL and is currently in his second year at Harvard Business School's, Owner/President Manager program.
