In addition to protecting existing rainforest lands, RainTrust plans to be involved with various large-scale reforestation projects around the world, reclaiming degraded forest lands with fast-growing trees, as well as other valuable varieties, that will contribute to the fight against global warming. RainTrust plans to plant up to 10,000,000 trees as part of this effort.

Reforestation can help the earth return to a more balanced state, in which nature helps offset the man-made carbon-emissions that our modern world produces. In one year, the Amazon Rainforest alone absorbs as much CO2 as all of Western Europe emits from the burning of fossil fuels. RainTrust intends to help the Amazon, along with many other degraded forest areas, play an ever-incresaing role as the Earth's best natural defense against catastrophic climate change.
